Economic Survey, August 2023

Large parts of the Danish economy have slowed during the past 18 months. Domestic demand has declined, whereas exports has sustained economic activity. However, developments through the first half of 2023 suggest that the slowdown in the Danish economy will be fairly mild. Thus, the expectation is that the Danish economy will continue to grow this year and next year, but at a slower pace than in the last two years.
