Economic Survey - August 2025

Amidst a period of significant upheaval in global trade, the Danish economy remains strong. Employment is high and continues to grow, unemployment is low, and inflation has been low and stable for a long time. Overall, the Danish economy is expected to continue in a moderate boom in 2025 and 2026. Despite uncertainty about the international economy and tariff increases from the USA, the Danish economy is still in good shape. According to the new forecast, GDP will grow by 1.4 per cent in 2025 and 2.1 per cent in 2026. Employment will continue to grow in the coming years, and inflation will be below 2 per cent on an annual basis.
